2025 onwards, the P.E. period will no longer be a 'Free' period!
As we have stepped into a promising new year, we have embraced opportunities that lie
ahead - to make more ways to internalize sports and physical education in school's formal
education across India. While the researchers have harped on the minimum physical
activity a child needs in his/her growing years, the focus has also grown on using sports for
building essential life skills such as resilience, teamwork, leadership as well as improving
children's academic outcomes. Schools, being at the forefront of a child's development,
only second to parents, are now proactively finding ways to prioritize sports education -
although there is a long way to go!
With over 13 lakh children positively impacted across 2,800 partner schools, EduSports
has been transforming sports education in schools across India, where our journey is
fueled by the collective efforts of our partner schools, trainers, and communities. This year,
we aim to inspire more school leaders and parents to prioritize P.E. education for their
children as much as academics - so that we equip young minds to thrive—physically,
emotionally, and socially, both on and off the field!

Sportz Village’s new film celebrates school coaches as change-makers,
weaving emotion and grit into the story of a young school cricketer
Excited to share the story of Dilip, a young school student from a humble background
with the potential to become a world champion. The story depicts what goes into creating
a champion, much before the records are made or broken. Like many future champions,
his journey is filled with barriers he must overcome. The film highlights that while talent
is abundant, it needs to meet the right opportunities at the right place and right time.
It also reminds us that creating champions is a collective effort - one that includes parents,
educators, coaches, school leaders, funders, Govt. and policymakers.
The film reflects Sportz Village's commitment to identifying and nurturing talent from
schools and communities across India, to fulfill our dreams of gold and glory.
